Writing Across the Curriculum+

The Writing Across the Curriculum+ Program (WAC+) began as a TLEF-funded collaboration between the Science Centre for Learning and Teaching, the Centre for Writing and Scholarly Communication and the Department of Chemistry and is designed to support the teaching and learning of written, oral, multimedia and other non-traditional forms of communication in the sciences.

WAC+ supports educators in developing skills and resources to more effectively teach science-specific communication or incorporate communication assignments as learning tools in their courses. WAC+ services aim to engage colleagues across the sciences and create a peer group for sharing best practices, resources and perspectives on designing, implementing, and evaluating assignments related to science-specific communication.

For more information, email the WAC+ Coordinator.
